Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea shows a battle against a more formidable enemy.

This time, you’ll see Kortes, Shallote, Homura, Shallie, Julie, and Wilbell go up against the Desert Fang.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea (シャリーのアトリエ~黄昏の海の錬金術士~ Sharī no Atorie ~ Tasogare no Umi no Renkinjutsu-shi ~?) is an upcoming 2014 Japanese role-playing video game developed by Gust Co. Ltd. for the PlayStation 3.

The player is able to choose to play as one of two characters, each with a differing storyline and adventure; regardless of which character is chosen, the flow of the game remains the same. In comparison to previous Atelier games, fields are significantly larger, and the player is able to harvest a wider variety of items and raw materials to use for mixing. Depending on the character the player controls, field actions that can be performed differ. Shallote is able to clean and catch fish using bait, Shallistera is able to uncover hidden items through dowsing, and both characters are able to mine for items at various locations on the field.

  1. I'm all for games that feature strong female protagonists! Also, I just love atelier games in general. Sad to know this is the last of the Dusk arc. I want to know what happened to Ayesha.

  2. should i wait for ps vita version, i liked the previous Atelier Dusk series tho the long running around collecting and time management was repetitive but the story and battlesystem are always awesome

  3. kinda reminds me of a cross between FF and the Tales series with some Star Ocean and Grandia. It looks interesting

  4. I haven't played a RPG (like this even) on "easy" mode for a while Mana Khemia 2 PS2 was my last alchemy based one.

  5. Glad they went back to a more formation vs formation type of combat, instead of the "all over the place" combat in the other dusk games.
Also, not as bad cell shading in this one. Still there but a bit more colourful.

I liked the battlestyle and gaphics in Mana Khemia most :)

  6. I can't wait for this to come out in the US. I really wish Threia would be back in it but I haven't seen hide nor hair of her on the official Sharry website. 🙁

  7. Much more hyped about this since SE aint got shit for the two titles everyone really wants to hear about.

Move over SE, Atelier is my new JRPG fix now until you get off your asses and release 15 already.

Lern 2 deliver you lazy fucks :P
